They are looking to increase the quality and efficiency of the services; and are seeking an executive leader to lead the evolution.Job DescriptionDevelop and implement the overall operational strategy for the department, aligning with the organisation's strategic objectives and vision.Oversee the efficient allocation and utilisation of resources (financial, human, and technological) to maximise operational effectiveness.Continuously monitor and analyse operational performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing data-driven solutions.Drive operational efficiency and cost optimisation initiatives, streamlining processes and eliminating redundancies.Manage key relationships with complex, executive stakeholders within government entities, ensuring clear communication and collaborative partnerships.Develop and implement robust risk management and business continuity plans to mitigate potential disruptions to service delivery.Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, policies, and procedures.Foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation within the operations team.Lead, mentor, and develop the operations team, fostering a high-performing and collaborative work environment.Report regularly to senior management on operational performance, providing insights and recommendations for strategic decision-making.The Successful ApplicantBachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field.
