Production Manager

Role Overview:

We are looking for a skilled and motivated Production Manager to lead the client's kitchen equipment manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in sheet metal fabrication and a proven ability to manage production teams in a fast-paced environment, handling a diverse range of products.

Key Responsibilities:

• Production Planning: Design and implement production schedules that align with customer demand while optimizing resource use.
• Team Leadership: Lead, coach, and manage a team of production workers, ensuring high productivity and strict adherence to safety standards.
• Quality Assurance: Oversee production processes to ensure products consistently meet quality standards and specifications. Drive continuous improvement efforts to enhance product quality.
• Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to streamline processes, improve efficiency, reduce waste, and lower production costs.
• Equipment Maintenance: Supervise the maintenance and repair of production equipment to minimise downtime and maintain peak performance.
• Safety Oversight: Ensure full compliance with health and safety regulations, fostering a safe work environment for all team members.
• Reporting: Prepare and present detailed production reports to senior management, emphasising key performance metrics and areas for potential improvement.
