The Safety & Maintenance Manager will oversee and lead all maintenance and safety functions across manufacturing facilities to ensure equipment reliability, safe operations, regulatory compliance, and uninterrupted production. Job Description

· Develop and manage preventive & predictive maintenance programs.

· Ensure machinery and utilities are maintained as per OEM and client standards.

· Drive rapid corrective maintenance with root-cause analysis and CAPA.

· Optimize spare parts, inventory accuracy, and maintenance costs.

· Support CAPEX planning, equipment upgrades, and energy optimization.

· Enforce Environmental, Health & Safety regulations and client policies.

· Lead incident investigations, risk assessments, and safety audits.

· Manage fire safety systems, emergency response plans, and contractor safety.

· Ensure equipment hygiene and compliance with FSSC 22000, ISO 22000, HACCP.

· Collaborate with QA during audits and ensure corrective actions are implemented.

· Lead, mentor, and develop maintenance and safety teams.

· Monitor KPIs: MTTR, MTBF, downtime %, maintenance costs, compliance scores.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Safety & Maintenance Manager should have:

· Bachelor's degree in mechanical, electrical, industrial engineering or related field.

· 7+ years maintenance/safety experience in food manufacturing, with 3+ years in leadership.

· NEBOSH/OSHA certification.

· HACCP Level 3+, FSSC/ISO 22000 certification preferred.

· Lean, TPM, or Six Sigma certification (added advantage).
