As a Senior Associate, you will work closely with leadership while leading independent analysis and discussions to define and execute corporate strategy, along with managing key workstreams and small projects. You will also focus on developing financial models for project assessment, enabling value capture initiatives, and supporting overall strategic execution in collaboration with relevant business areas.

Job Description

  • Lead work-streams contributing to the entity's strategy, ensuring alignment across functions.
  • Track performance metrics, prepare reports, and ensure corrective actions for target achievement.
  • Develop and implement cost reduction and efficiency projects with measurable impact.
  • Conduct analysis of ad-hoc requests, synthesise findings, and provide strategic recommendations.
  • Translate data insights into actionable recommendations and build cases for strategic initiatives.
  • Lead revenue-enhancing and cost-saving initiatives across various business areas.

The Successful Applicant

  • An undergraduate degree from a top-tier university, preferably in the fields of engineering or a related discipline. Master's degree in Business Administration is required.
  • 5 years of experience in a strategic role, with at least 3 years in strategy consulting from a globally recognised consulting firm.
  • Must have experience in mining/metals/ore sectors, either through consulting engagements or in an internal strategy role within these sectors.
  • Proven ability to translate high-level strategies into actionable business ventures with strong decision-making and financial acumen.
  • Experience managing cross-functional teams and projects, delivering on time with attention to detail and quality standards.
  • Strong relationship-building, networking, and presentation skills to engage and influence diverse stakeholders effectively.
