Job Description

  • Lead, mentor, and manage a team of expert data scientists, fostering growth and collaboration.
  • Provide technical leadership across advanced areas like scalable computer vision, time series forecasting, LLMs, and optimisation techniques.
  • Stay up to date with the latest advancements in data science, including AI, machine learning, and automation tools.
  • Collaborate closely with business stakeholders, translating data strategies into actionable solutions.
  • Drive mindset change within the organisation, encouraging innovation and adaptability in a fast-evolving landscape.
  • Ensure best practices in model scalability, performance optimisation, and production-level reliability.

The Successful Applicant

  • Master's or PhD in Data Science, Computer Science, Engineering, or Statistics.
  • Over 10 years of relevant experience in statistical and data science roles and leading a team of data scientists and serving as the go-to subject matter expert for all aspects of data science.
  • Proficient in programming languages, particularly Python, R, and SQL.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with a solution-driven mindset.
  • Strong communication and leadership abilities, with a focus on collaboration and stakeholder management.
