The ServiceNow Demand and Release Manager plays a central role within the ServiceNow Centre of Excellence. The role is responsible for managing incoming demands, ensuring strategic alignment and overseeing the entire life-cycle of releases from inception to delivery.

Job Description

  • Manage and prioritise incoming demands from internal stakeholders for the ServiceNow platform
  • Evaluate demand requests and collaborate with stakeholders to prioritise projects and establish a roadmap for implementation
  • Lead planning, development and coordination of enhancements and new releases for the platform
  • Oversee and manage releases across various environments using the ServiceNow Agile platform
  • Maintain ownership of the backlog, ensuring all releases, sprints and stories are up to date and progress is reported
  • Communicate transparently with stakeholders about delivery status, release schedules and potential risks, while addressing issues and coordinating testing strategies

The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelor's degree (preferably in Information Technology) and ITIL certification
  • At least 5 years of experience in Demand/Release/Project Management, Scrum Master, or DevOps roles ideally within an agile delivery environment
  • Hands-on experience with the ServiceNow platform, including Agile modules, technical concepts (workflow design, APIs, Web Services, integrations) and ESM best practices
  • Strong experience in vendor management, process improvement and monitoring demand management cycles through KPIs and metrics
  • Customer-centric approach with the ability to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders and decision-makers
