The position is based in Qatar and focuses on supporting the finance function through expert risk assessment, advisory, and process optimisation.

Job Description

· Establish, enhance and implement policies, systems and procedures designed to mitigate financial risk across the organisation.

· Drive the application of advanced financial risk assessment tools and methodologies to identify and mitigate exposure.

· Recommend and validate financial risk management strategies in line with internal policies and industry best practices.

· Provide expert guidance on the overall impact of risk mitigation strategies and escalate areas of concern to senior leadership.

· Continuously evaluate, upgrade and optimise tools used to manage and monitor financial risks.

· Offer technical expertise on financial risk matters related to banks, customers and suppliers.

· Prepare complex financial reports, insights and presentations for management and other key stakeholders.

· Advise on financial policies and procedures, offering technical interpretation and guidance to senior management.

· Support and advise on the administration of financial securities.

· Lead the identification and implementation of improvements across processes, procedures and associated controls.

· Manage and resolve complex issues that arise within treasury, financial governance or risk management operations.

The Successful Applicant

· Bachelor's degree in any discipline paired with a recognised professional accounting or finance qualification (CFA, CPA, ACA, ACCA, CIMA or CMA).

· Minimum of 7 years of experience in a treasury or finance-related environment.

· Strong understanding of accounting systems.

· Advanced financial and risk management knowledge within the relevant area of specialisation.
