What led you to recruitment from your previous role in BD in the education sector?
The main attraction for me was the recruitment industry’s competitive and fast-paced environment. In recruitment, no two days are the same and every day brings with it a new challenge and an opportunity for you to achieve something.

In addition to this, you get to speak to some highly experienced candidates and clients in various industries, coming from various cultural background which in itself is an opportunity to learn something new every day.

The ability to identify lucrative growth opportunities, having strong communication skills and resilience are the key skills or traits that I feel helped me in successfully becoming a part of the recruitment industry.
What advice would you give someone with a Business Development background who is considering a job in recruitment?
If you enjoy working towards targets and KPIs, and are resilient with a pro-active approach, recruitment could be a great career choice for you where you would be able to achieve career growth as well as financial rewards that really justify the hard work you do.
