I did not know much about recruitment, but Michael Page is a well-established multinational, and I saw a chance to acquire experience in a professional corporate surrounding. After doing my research about the company I saw it as a great fit for what I wanted to do, and working with people was one of my goals, which recruitment definitely provides you the opportunity with. It has turned out to be a great choice!
How did you benefit from your stint as an intern?
As an intern at Michael Page, I improved my skills in business communication, negotiation and sales. I also developed great market knowledge and labour market overview. Exposure to different companies, clients and candidates at different level is something that is extremely useful for someone who is just starting their career. I got to work very closely with the manager supervising me. Getting advice from and listening to my colleagues with 10+ years of work experience was the biggest learning experience for me.
