I joined PageGroup in 2001 in the Melbourne Office where I recruited in the Accounting & Finance Team in Melbourne City. After I put my hand up for an international transfer I was first transferred internally in the Melbourne office to the Technology (Banking) team where I was tasked with building the Banking Technology desk. In 2003 I was awarded Consultant of the Year. In April 2004, I was transferred internationally to the UK Head office and I initially worked in the MP Financial Services business recruiting Senior level back office Accounting roles. In 2006, I transferred internally to the Michael Page Secretarial (now Page Personnel Secretarial) and I was instrumental in the set of this business headed up out of the office in London. In 2008 we transferred to the Middle East to work in the Dubai Office. During the 8.5 years in the Dubai, UAE office I have worked across various businesses. Initially in Banking & Finance, set up PP Secretarial for the Middle East, Finance & Accounting, Learning & Development and the Middle East’s first RPO Assignment at Dubai Tourism (the government Department for Tourism for 3 years where we recruited over 300+ roles and made over 8 million AED for the business). My various moves during the time in the Middle East were to accommodate my pregnancies and maternity leave for my 2 children (6 yrs and 4.5 yrs) both born in the UAE. I am currently a Director recruiting Executive level Finance & Accountancy recruitment across the UAE & Saudi Arabia.
Why did you join PageGroup?
I came to MP looking for a new role in Accountancy as I worked for Arthur Andersen before I worked for PageGroup, however when I met with the Consultant they decided I would be a good candidate for recruitment. After 12 interviews and some serious convincing of my father who felt recruitment was not a career I secured a role in early 2001.

Building relationships with key candidates / clients which translate into jobs for myself and the broader business.
