Job Description

The Accountant will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, supporting fund accounting activities, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.Key responsibilities include:

  • Maintain books of accounts and accounting schedules
  • Perform fund accounting for complex structures (GP/LP, SPVs)
  • Prepare regulatory filings and internal reports
  • Process payments and manage banking activities
  • Support budgeting, audits, and investor reporting
  • Maintain documentation in line with internal policies
  • Ensure compliance with IFRS and US GAAP
  • Coordinate with auditors, banks, and stakeholders

The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
  • Progress towards ACCA, CPA, ACA, or similar preferred
  • 3-4 years of accounting experience in funds or asset management
  • Strong knowledge of IFRS and financial reporting
  • Experience in private equity or fund structures preferred
  • High attention to detail and strong analytical skills
  • Ability to manage multiple deadlines and entities
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Fluency in English required; Arabic/French is a plus
