Job Description

  • Review architectural design drawings, finishes, and shop drawings for compliance with the project's design standards and specifications.
  • Prepare and coordinate architectural shop drawings, ensuring compliance with approved design intent, the BIM-coordinated model, and actual site conditions.
  • Prepare and maintain As-Built drawings for architectural works, reflecting actual site execution for record and handover purposes
  • Prepare and verify BOQ (Bill of Quantities) take-offs for architectural/finishing works from drawings, to support procurement, tendering, and evaluation of variations/change orders.
  • Lead architectural BIM modelling, coordination, and clash detection with structural and MEP disciplines.
  • Review material submittals, mock-ups, and finishing samples for technical and aesthetic compliance.
  • Coordinate with interior design and specialist finishes teams on technical integration of finishes and fittings.
  • Provide technical support to site architectural engineers on complex detailing issues.
  • Ensure compliance with the Saudi Building Code, Civil Defense requirements, and applicable international design standards.
  • Support development of standard technical details and specification libraries for reuse across the project.

The Successful Applicant

  • Practical capability in architectural technical engineering and construction documentation.
  • Strong working knowledge of BIM modelling and coordination processes.
  • Ability to produce detailed architectural drawings, schedules and technical details.
  • Experience reviewing design information and identifying coordination issues.
  • Ability to manage drawing updates and maintain accurate project records.
  • Clear understanding of architectural information required for construction delivery.
