This is a high-impact, hands-on legal leadership role supporting senior executives, investment teams and operating businesses across a diverse corporate group. You'll act as the trusted legal adviser on commercial, corporate and strategic matters.

Job Description

  • Serve as the principal legal adviser to the GCEO and senior stakeholders on corporate, commercial and strategic matters.
  • Lead the drafting, negotiation, and review of complex commercial agreements across the Group.
  • Support acquisitions, joint ventures, investments, restructurings, and other strategic transactions.
  • Drive legal governance, risk management and legal operations, including matter tracking and reporting.
  • Manage external law firms and legal advisers, ensuring high-quality support and cost-effective outcomes.
  • Build legal frameworks, templates and processes that improve efficiency, consistency, and risk management across the organisation.



The Successful Applicant

  • Qualified lawyer (LLB, JD or equivalent) from a recognised institution.
  • Approximately 8-12 years' post-qualification experience, gained in leading private practice and/or in-house environments.
  • Strong corporate and commercial law background with experience negotiating complex agreements.
  • Exposure to M&A, investments, joint ventures, corporate restructurings, and legal due diligence.
  • Experience working with senior executives and managing multiple legal matters in a dynamic business environment; UAE/GCC experience highly desirable.
  • Demonstrated ability to balance legal risk with commercial objectives, providing practical and solution-oriented advice to business leaders.
