Job Description

  • Build and optimise AWS infrastructure (EKS, Lambda, EC2, S3, RDS) for scale and reliability
  • Own CI/CD pipelines using GitLab, implementing automated testing and deployments
  • Embed DevSecOps practices including security scanning, IAM controls, and secrets management
  • Develop Infrastructure as Code using Terraform and CloudFormation for repeatable environments
  • Enhance observability through monitoring, alerting, and logging frameworks

The Successful Applicant

  • 5+ years' experience in DevOps, SRE, or platform engineering on AWS
  • Strong programming skills in Python and/or Go, with solid Linux expertise
  • Proven experience with Docker, Kubernetes (EKS), GitLab CI/CD, and IaC tools
  • Deep understanding of cloud security, networking, and performance optimisation
  • Experience with observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana, CloudWatch) and distributed systems
