Save Job Back to Search Job Description Summary Similar JobsEntrepreneurial opportunity to build a large scale project from scratchOppportunity to work with one of the leading global private equity firmsAbout Our ClientCompany is a GCC-focused real estate firm building a platform of Grade A+ logistics and industrial developments across Saudi Arabia and the UAE.Job DescriptionDevelopment ManagementLead the development process from land stage through design, permitting, procurement, construction, commissioning, and handover.Develop and manage project budgets, schedules, and development strategies.Coordinate with consultants, contractors, authorities, utility providers, and other stakeholders to ensure project objectives are achieved.Oversee planning, design development, and value engineering activities.Manage tendering and contractor appointment processes.Monitor construction progress, quality, cost, and risk throughout the delivery phase.Ensure compliance with local regulations, permitting requirements, and industry standards.Prepare regular project status reports for senior management and investors.Identify and mitigate development risks to achieve successful project outcomes.Stakeholder ManagementAct as the primary point of contact between project stakeholders, consultants, contractors and authorities, and support the investment team with investor reporting.Build and maintain strong relationships with local authorities, including Saudi and UAE government and industrial authorities, and key industry partners.Manage internal and external stakeholders to ensure alignment on project objectives.Asset ManagementOversee the transition of the development from delivery into operational status.Develop and implement asset management strategies to maximize asset value and performance.Monitor operational performance, occupancy levels, leasing activity, and financial returns.Coordinate with property management, leasing, and facility management teams.Identify opportunities for operational improvements and value creation.Platform GrowthSupport the evaluation of new development opportunities across KSA and the UAE, including site assessment, feasibility and development budgets.Help establish development processes, reporting and standards as the platform grows.Act as the firm's subject-matter expert on the Saudi and/or UAE development market.The Successful ApplicantA successful 'Development Manager' should have:Bachelor's degree in Real Estate, Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, Project Management, or a related field.Approximately 10+ years of relevant experience in real estate development.Proven experience managing projects through the full development lifecycle, ideally from land acquisition through leasing and stabilization.Experience within logistics, industrial, or warehouse developments is strongly preferred advantageous.Candidates with broader commercial or mixed-use real estate development experience will also be considered.Demonstrated experience managing multiple stakeholders, consultants, contractors, and government authorities.Experience on the developer, investor or owner's side, rather than purely contractor or construction delivery.Exposure to institutional or international developers or investors is a plus.What's on OfferEntrepreneurial opportunity to join a growing and ambitious organization and team with further projects and expansion in the future.
