Head of IT Solutions and Quality

The Head of IT Solutions and Quality will be responsible for:

• Managing budgets for the IT Solutions and Quality department
• Translating business needs into system requirements and developing/delivering/implementing solutions successfully
• Reviewing upgrade plans to ensure alignment with current and future business goals
• Ensuring solution delivery is on time and within budget
• Overseeing vendor activities during system implementation and delivery
• Leading negotiations for software licenses, services and maintenance contracts
• Leading and developing department staff through training, performance tracking and mentorship
• Coordinating with other department heads to keep change initiatives on track and within scope
• Ensuring compliance with SDLC best practices across development teams
• Systems Quality Assurance and UAT
• Maximise system availability and performance through proactive management
• Overseeing end-to-end system upgrades, product setups and production readiness
