Job Description

Reporting to senior technology leadership, the Section Head, Application Development will be responsible for leading the application development function and driving the delivery of secure, scalable, and innovative digital solutions.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Lead the full software development lifecycle (SDLC) across enterprise applications.
  • Drive application modernisation and cloud-first development initiatives.
  • Oversee application architecture, integrations, APIs, and digital platforms.
  • Champion DevOps best practices, CI/CD, and release governance.
  • Manage internal teams, outsourced partners, and technology vendors.
  • Ensure delivery of high-quality, secure, and scalable solutions.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to align technology initiatives with business objectives.



The Successful Applicant

  • UAE National with Family Book.
  • Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • Proven experience leading application development or software engineering teams.
  • Strong understanding of SDLC, software engineering practices, and application architecture.
  • Experience managing integrations, APIs, and enterprise applications.
  • Exposure to cloud-based application environments.
  • Knowledge of DevOps, CI/CD, and modern development methodologies.
  • Strong leadership, stakeholder management, and vendor management skills.
