Job Description

* Lead the finance and administration function across the Oman business

* Manage and develop a team of three finance and administration professionals

* Oversee monthly, quarterly and annual financial close activities

* Prepare management accounts, board reports and detailed financial analysis

* Monitor business performance through budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis

* Develop rolling forecasts and cash flow projections

* Drive improvements in profitability, working capital and financial performance

* Ensure accurate balance sheet reconciliations and maintenance of financial records

* Review revenue recognition, accruals, prepayments and financial adjustments

* Monitor project profitability, job costing and project accounting activities

* Manage accounts payable, accounts receivable and treasury operations

* Establish and maintain strong financial controls and governance procedures

* Ensure compliance with local taxation, VAT and statutory requirements

* Lead external audits and maintain audit-ready documentation

* Manage relationships with banks, auditors, government bodies and external advisers

* Oversee finance systems and ensure data accuracy and integrity

* Identify opportunities for automation, reporting enhancements and process improvements

* Partner with operational leaders to support strategic and commercial decisions

* Deliver financial insights and recommendations to senior management

* Support business planning, investment decisions and special projects

The Successful Applicant

* Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance or a related discipline

* Professional qualification such as ACCA, CPA or CMA preferred

* Minimum 8-10 years of progressive finance experience

* Previous leadership experience managing a small team

* Mandatory experience within service-based industries

* Strong management reporting, budgeting and forecasting experience

* Proven experience in financial controls, compliance and governance

* Experience managing audits, VAT and statutory reporting requirements

* Strong understanding of cash flow and working capital management

* Advanced Excel and financial analysis skills

* Experience with cloud-based accounting systems

* Project accounting and job costing experience would be a strong advantage

* Open to candidates currently based anywhere across the GCC and willing to relocate to Oman
