Job Description

Distribution Strategy & Pipeline

  • Pipeline ownership: Own and build a client pipeline across cedants, reinsurers, brokers, and MGAs in the UAE, GCC, and wider MENA region.
  • Account strategy: Define the engagement approach for each prospect - sequencing, stakeholders, positioning, and commercial framing - and drive it through to signature.
  • Targets & reporting: Set and own sales targets and KPIs across pipeline conversion, sales-cycle length, client acquisition and platform adoption.

Sales Operations & Reporting

  • Pipeline discipline: Own the CRM as the single source of truth for the commercial pipeline - ensuring every account, contact, interaction and opportunity stage is recorded accurately and kept current.
  • Reporting cadence: Deliver a weekly pipeline review to the COO, a monthly commercial report to the executive team covering pipeline movement, conversion and forecast, and a quarterly commercial update to the Board.
  • Forecasting: Maintain a rolling [90]-day forecast with defined stage definitions and conversion assumptions and be accountable for forecast accuracy as well as for the number itself.
  • Sales infrastructure: Select, implement and maintain the commercial tooling stack - CRM, outreach, collateral and proposal templates - building a repeatable process rather than a personal one.

Client Acquisition & Relationship Management

  • End-to-end sales: Lead all commercial communication with prospective clients, from first outreach and platform demonstrations through LOI, contracting, and onboarding.
  • Live Product Demonstrations: Confidently lead end-to-end, technical platform demos under high-pressure scenarios, articulating the value proposition in front of rooms of senior decisionmakers, Chief Underwriting Officers, and C-suite executives.
  • Post-sale management: Act as the ongoing relationship owner post-signing - managing client needs, adoption, satisfaction, and growth in share of wallet.

Product Feedback & Market Intelligence

  • Feedback loop: Serve as the structured voice of both the prospect and the client - capturing feedback from cedants and reinsurers and channelling it into the product development roadmap.
  • Market intelligence: Monitor competitor activity, market trends, and appetite shifts to inform product prioritisation and commercial positioning.

Marketing, Events & Brand Presence

  • Events & publications: Identify and secure presence at relevant industry events, conferences, and sponsorships (e.g., regional reinsurance rendezvous and association events such as Dubai World Insurance Conference or DWIC), and in print and online industry publications (e.g., Middle East Insurance Review) and thought leadership.

Executive Collaboration & External Representation

  • C-suite partnership: Work closely with the CEO, COO, and CFO on go-to-market strategy, pricing, sales incentives, and investor-facing commercial narratives.
  • External representation: Represent the company credibly in front of regulators, partners, and investors, selling in a technical, highly professional manner appropriate for regulated financial institutions and senior C-suite executives.

The Successful Applicant

  • 5+ years of SaaS or fintech sales experience, with a demonstrable track record of closing enterprise or institutional clients.
  • Strong communicator with perfect command of english
  • Ability to fully absorb a complex technical platform and translate its functionality into commercial value for sophisticated buyers.
  • Sharp, proactive, and self-directed, with strong ownership instincts and a collaborative, team-first working style.
  • Experience building and running structured sales pipelines, forecasting, and target-setting.
  • Experience in insurance, reinsurance, or the broader (re)insurance value chain; particularly facultative placement, underwriting, or broking is a plus.
  • Familiarity with SaaS/platform commercial models (subscription plus transaction-fee revenue).

What's on Offer

  • Be part of a lean yet high-impact founding-stage team bringing the first digital facultative reinsurance platform to the DIFC.
  • A genuinely senior seat: you will own an entire function and work directly with the C-suite every day.
  • Shape the commercial engine of a regulated, first-of-its-kind platform at the point of market launch, with regional expansion (GCC, KSA, India) on the near-term roadmap.
  • Compensation aligned with performance and company growth.
