Situation

The client engaged Michael Page to implement an RPO program (Recruitment Process Outsourcing) to assist them in an extended period of high volume hiring across a number of departments and disciplines  (IT, Human Capital, Finance, Corporate Communications, Strategy, Investment, Real Estate, Compliance, Risk) with a focus on hiring Saudi Nationals, as well as to helping to develop and upskill the internal Talent Acquisition department and instil best practices and processes.

Solution

Michael Page has two full time resources based at the client headquarters in Saudi Arabia, who are also supported with an additional delivery team based from Michael Page in Dubai (scaled from 1-10 people depending on needs). We are responsible for delivering from Analyst to SVP level (1 - 15+ years of experience).   

Outcome

Michael Page have become the largest supplier of choice for our client, having successfully recruited 50+ positions over a nine-month period in 2019. The RPO model has now been extended to cover 2020 and expanded to cover recruitment across additional departments within the business as well as their subsidiaries. Since the engagement was renewed in April 2020, we have had a further 30+ roles accepted, taking the grand total since April 2019 to over 80 placements.

A Saudi Commission (Culture & Heritage)

Being a newly set up organization, Michael Page were asked to put into place the executive team and top-level management for the Commission, market experts in the areas of Mega-Project Development, Project Delivery, Strategy, Communications, IT, Procurement, Logistics and Human Resources. This included having a rotation of Michael Page Consultants seconded to be onsite as an extension of the Commission's Talent Acquisition team. In an 18-month period, we placed 40+ candidates up to Chief level.

 

International Investment Bank

Michael Page were engaged to work onsite to help recruit across a range of areas (IT, Finance, Procurement, Corporate Communication, GRC and SSC setup) as well as to help develop the Talent Acquisition department and instill best practices within the team. This included having two Michael Page consultants based onsite in Riyadh, supported by multiple consultant based out of Dubai. During a 18-month period, we have placed 80+ candidates, with the majority being Saudi Nationals.

 

Saudi Commission (City Development)

Whilst in their start-up phase as a newly formed entity, Michael Page were brought onboard to support in their Executive Level hiring, including City Management and Planning. Off the back of several successful placements, Michael Page are managing an ongoing recruitment campaign to assist in hiring across several key business functions.
